From 17 to 24 May 2010, the Sino-German CSR Project team and Mr. Wang Yazhou, an expert in the field of CSR, conducted a one-day “CSR Strategy Review and Consultancy” at each of the six pilot enterprises participating in Zhejiang-based Public-Private Partnership (PPP) Project.

The consultancy, which was attended by representatives from upper management, the company CSR coordinator and other team members, was composed of three sessions: an assessment of standard activities within the framework of the CSR PPP Project, a review of the company’s CSR policy, and an assessment of the company’s voluntary activities. Mr. Wang Yazhou facilitated the three sessions, allowing participants to evaluate their fulfillment of project indicators in group and brainstorming sessions, and to identify plans for future CSR implementation.

Mr. Wang interviewed the company top management and CSR coordinator at the conclusion of the consultancy to evaluate the impact of the PPP Project. In addition, ten randomly selected ground-floor employees were interviewed by Ms. Zhao Lin, GTZ, to gauge their CSR awareness, their understanding of the company’s CSR policy, and the overall impact of the project.
