The 4th Network Meeting on “Best Practice in Waste and Material Resources Management” was held in Taizhou, Zhejiang province, on 28 May 2010. Ten representatives from six Zhejiang-based pilot enterprises participated in the meeting.

The six pilot enterprises started the day by presenting their achievements and showcasing the progress they have made since the application of an internal self-evaluation. This provided attendees with the opportunity to exchange information with peers and to find solutions to common challenges. In addition, participants evaluated the waste management module of the Zhejiang CSR Public-Private-Partnership (PPP) Project.

During the afternoon session, an on-site visit to Taizhou Delixi Changjiang Environmental Protection Co., Ltd was organised. Delixi is the only hazardous waste disposal company among the six pilot enterprises and participants were updated on its progress and introduced to its hazardous waste treatment and disposal facilities.

The network meeting was to give each of the pilot enterprises an opportunity to exchange information and share valuable insights. This was the final network meeting before the conclusion of the Zhejiang CSR PPP Project.
